In this article, I will show step-by-step screenshots of how you can add a new website or as referred to in the dashboard (a property) in Google Analytics under an existing account.

Step 1
Go to https://analytics.google.com and click on the button in the upper right-hand corner to choose the account you would like to log into Google Analytics.
Step 2
Once you are logged in, click on Admin button at the bottom left corner of your screen.
Step 3
Click on the Account drop-down and select the account under which you would like to add a new website.
Step 4
In the middle ‘ Property’ column, click on the drop-down and Create new property.
Step 5
Fill in your website details and click Get Tracking ID button.
Finished
That’s it.
You now should have been provided a Tracking ID and tracking code (script). Copy and paste your new code snippet into the <head></head> section of the web pages you want to track.
If you have trouble locating the tracking code just head to the center column and click on Tracking Code from the Tracking Info drop-down.
